Frequently Asked Questions
We know you have lots of questions. Here are some common ones that we get.
What to expect in Therapy?
A: I blend talk therapy with mind-body approaches like EMDR and Brainspotting. Together, we explore thoughts, feelings, and patterns while also attending to your body’s signals. Therapy is paced to your needs — not a rigid agenda — so you feel seen, heard, and empowered to make lasting change.
Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions? And what is your current availability?
I offer both at this time, though only see clients in person in Fort Mill, SC.

I currently offer appointments Monday - Thursday, 9 am - 5 pm, Friday, 9am - 2 pm. EST
What if I've tried therapy before and it didn't work?
That’s common. Sometimes it’s not about therapy “failing” — it’s about finding the right therapist and approach. My integrative method combines cognitive insight, somatic processing, and identity-centered work so you can heal in a way that sticks.
Why do you NOT accept insurance?
A: Insurance often requires access to your health record, a diagnosis, and limits care. By working privately, you have more privacy, flexibility, and personalized treatment tailored to your goals—not dictated by paperwork or rules.
I understand that therapy is an investment. Occasionally, I may offer sliding scale or flexible payment options depending on availability. Feel free to ask during a consultation.
How do I schedule a session?
A: You can book a session or a consultation directly through my website. I’ll confirm your appointment and provide instructions for payment via IVY Pay.
