Anxiety & High-Functioning Anxiety
From the outside, you may look calm, capable, and in control. Internally, your mind rarely stops.
You're thinking ahead, replaying conversations, anticipating what could go wrong, second-guessing decisions, or putting pressure on yourself to get things right.
Anxiety doesn't always look like panic. Sometimes it looks like productivity, perfectionism, over-preparing, and having a hard time letting yourself fully relax.
This may look like:
Overthinking, racing thoughts, perfectionism, difficulty making decisions, physical tension, trouble resting, fear of making mistakes, people-pleasing, or feeling like you always need to be prepared for what might happen next.
How therapy can help
We'll work to understand what's driving the anxiety, not just manage the symptoms. Therapy may include CBT, nervous-system regulation, exploring underlying beliefs and patterns, building tolerance for uncertainty, and learning to trust yourself without needing every outcome guaranteed.
The goal isn't to never feel anxious. It's to stop letting anxiety organize your life.
