Relationships & Relational Patterns

You can care deeply about people and still notice that you lose parts of yourself in relationships.

Maybe you overgive, avoid conflict, struggle to express what you need, feel responsible for other people's emotions, or spend so much time understanding someone else's perspective that your own experience gets pushed aside.

This may look like:

Difficulty communicating your needs, overfunctioning in relationships, conflict avoidance, weak or inconsistent boundaries, resentment, fear of disappointing people, difficulty trusting, or repeating relationship patterns you understand but haven't been able to change.

How therapy can help

Individual therapy can help you understand where these patterns came from and practice relating differently. We'll work on boundaries, communication, self-trust, tolerating healthy disagreement, and staying connected to yourself while being connected to other people.

There should be room for you in your relationships, too.

I provide individual therapy focused on relationships and relational patterns. I do not provide couples or family therapy.
